Young Man and the Sea

Marcus

We visited my sister and her family in the Seattle area last weekend. I took some pics of my boy Marcus on the beach.

He was estatic. The wind was blowing, (he’s always been a wind boy), the seagulls soared around the beach and made their familiar calls, the ferries docked and unloaded their cars, then filled with cars again and set off across the Sound, and the water lapped quietly along the sandy shore.

It was almost too much for Marcus to contain. He pointed and shouted at all the wonders.

Don’t let the blue sky and light denim jacket fool you: it was bitter cold. Still, Marcus had to be dragged away.

Pictures from the day.
